Richard began his career working in PR and Marketing in London working with Corporate Banking, Asset Management, Travel and Leisure clients before moving into recruitment. Following a move out of London, Richard worked for Morrison Utility Services for seven years, firstly as PR and Marketing Manager and then within operations in various customer and performance management roles. Having worked within both the corporate environment and operations, he has a good understanding of the utility market, its key drivers and the ever-changing regulatory environment. During his time at Morrison, he worked collaboratively with a range of clients including E.ON Central Networks, Northern Power Grid, National Grid, UK Power Networks and Western Power Distribution. Following Morrison, he moved into Facilities Management for EMCOR UK to develop and implement a corporate customer-centric strategy in conjunction with clients including M&G Property, NATS, Southampton Airport, BAE Systems, AWE, Public Health England and the Department of Health. Following EMCOR, Richard worked for the Mears Group developing and implementing customer strategies for Local Authorities, Private Landlords and Housing Associations across the UK. More recently, Richard has been a Director of his own consultancy business, specialising in customer service, customer experience and project management advisory services.
